This sequence illustrates the stages in carving and painting a Dragon Rocker. The bows are lined with silver gilt. This is followed by photographs of the Dolphin Rocker and the Elephant Rocker. They are all carved in oak and measure 2 metres long. Although they are heavy to lift they are finely balanced allowing them to be rocked by the light touch of one finger.
